A Deep Oval Tub with Drop-Ring Handles
The oval shape gives a longer opening than a round tub of the same footprint, so bottles lie at an angle along the length rather than crowding at the centre. The depth keeps the lower half of each bottle in the ice.
A ring handle hangs from a cast lug at each end. The rings drop flat against the body when not in use and swing up for carrying, and they sit close enough to the sides that the bucket still fits a narrow bar cart shelf.
At 8.75 pounds empty the bucket has enough weight to stay put as bottles are lifted in and out.
Engraved Script and an Antique Silver Finish
Cursive “Champagne” lettering runs across the centre front of the tub, set against the plain metal around it.
The bucket is cast aluminium in an antique silver tone, left unpolished so the casting grain stays visible. The finish is mottled rather than even and varies from piece to piece.
For care, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and towel dry completely. It is not dishwasher safe, and abrasives will mark the finish.
