An Animal for Every Room

Animal sculpture is the heart of this collection, and the cast list is long: horses (a beige polystone sculpture at 19″H, a black-and-gold horse head at 9″, a prancing polyresin figure), roosters (the black-and-white 9.25″ figurine, a bronze metal pair, a polyresin rooster bowl at 12″), bulldogs (10″ and a 17″ statement piece), elephants (a 12″ sculpture and a mom-and-baby pair), plus a terracotta bull at 12″L, a chalkboard-sign pig, and a bamboo wood duck in high heels for shelves with a sense of humor. Pick the animal that fits the room’s personality — the material and finish will follow.

Polystone, Polyresin, Terracotta, and Wood: What the Materials Mean

Most sculptures here are cast in polystone or polyresin — resin-based composites that take fine detail well and hold a painted or textured finish, which is why the feathers on the roosters and the musculature on the horses read so clearly. Terracotta (the 12″L bull) brings a matte, earthen surface; bamboo wood (the duck) adds natural grain; and the vintage bicycles are hand-finished metal. All are display pieces for indoor settings — dust with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush, and they need nothing else.

Placement: Statement Pieces vs. Shelf Company

Size decides placement. Pieces from about 12″ up — the 19″H horse, the 17″ bulldog, the elephant pair — work as standalone statements on a console, hearth, entry table, or wide shelf, with breathing room around them. Smaller figures earn their keep in groups: a rooster beside cookbooks, the bull anchoring a stack of art books, the pig’s chalkboard holding a kitchen message. Roosters in particular are a farmhouse-kitchen classic, and the same figures cross over into the garden and patio range for porch styling.

Figurines as Gifts and Collection Starters

A well-chosen animal figure is one of the easiest personal gifts: match the animal to the person — the dog lover gets the bulldog, the equestrian gets the horse, the cyclist gets the black-and-brown vintage metal bicycle. Because the collection spans over 60 pieces across recurring animals, it also supports collectors adding one piece at a time. Pair a figure with a small piece from the wider decor collection — a box or a candle holder — and the gift becomes a ready-made vignette; more boxed ideas sit in the gift collection.
