A Separate Top Plate with Two Bottle Openings

The top is a flat oval plate that sits into the rim of the body, with a visible seam where the two meet. Two round openings are cast into it, one at each end.

Setting bottles through the openings keeps them upright and separated, so they do not lean together and labels stay out of the ice. The body below holds the ice around the lower half of each bottle.

The openings take standard wine, champagne and sparkling water bottles.

A Raw Silver Cast Aluminum Surface

The chiller is cast aluminium with the surface left raw rather than polished. The casting grain stays visible across the body, so the silver reads as a soft matte rather than a mirror, with darker mottling in places.

Each casting is slightly different, so the pattern of texture varies piece to piece. The knob handles at either end are cast in the same finish and stand clear of the body.

The oval body tapers inward from the rim to a flat base. For care, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry by hand. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners.
